Microsoft's April patch tuesday release has been scheduled to be deployed during the 4/12 maintenance window.

The Univeristy KACE has an update available for the agent. The IT team that runs it has been requested we deploy an updated agent. THis update will be installed during the 4/5/12 deployment.

Adobe has released a new version of Flash Player that addresses some security vulnerabilities. This update will be installed during the 4/5/12 maintenance window.

The University hosted KACE applicance has a new agent update that has been requested to be deployed. This update will be included in the 12/22/12 maintenance window.

Mozilla has released a new version of firefox that contains security updates. This update will be deployed druing the 3/22/12 maintenance window.

Internet Explorer 9 has been officially approved for use with campus systems including Sakai and Peoplesoft. As a result AP-IT will be deploying Internet Explorer 9 to all departments during a special maintenance window at 12AM Tuesday March 20. All your current settings (favorites, shortcuts, toolbars, etc) will be maintained during the upgrade. If you do not get the upgrade during this maintenace window you will get it as soon as possible following the next time your computer is started after the maintenance window time (exactly like current maintenace window updates).
